Out of Hours Service

Matson Lane Surgery is closed all day on weekends. Any calls made to the surgery during closed hours will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

If we are closed and you need to be treated urgently there is an out of hours medical service available. You can access this service by calling: 111. Out of hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

An A&E department is available 24hrs a day at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for people who are seriously unwell.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
